Eire Announces Community Partnerships 2020

Young people and families are the focus for the Eire Constructions Community Partnerships 2020 with the announcement that eight applicants will benefit from an injection of funds across categories including major events, health promotion, education and junior sport.

“We’re delighted to invest in the future of young people in the region through our community partnerships program,” said Tadhg Kelliher, Eire Constructions Group Managing Director.

“Children and young people in regional communities have different experiences to those who live in cities. We’re keen to invest early to give them opportunities to boost their educational, social and sporting opportunities. We also recognise the importance of improved access to mental health services.”

“This year we reviewed some wonderful projects across all categories. We’d love to support them all and welcome future applications. For 2020 our focus is on young people – an investment in future generations,” added Tadhg.

Eire selected three Major Partners for 2020 within three categories:

  • ArtWalk Port Macquarie presented by Port Macquarie-Hastings Council received the Event category funding. ArtWalk is a family friendly event engaging families and children of all ages in culture and the arts through street installations and pop up performances.

  • Hastings Education Fund received the Education category funding. The HEF offers financial assistance and support to students in the Hastings municipality as they transition from school to further education, training or into an apprenticeship.
