Eire takes part in Mayor’s Bowls Day Challenge

The 11th annual Mayor’s Sporting Fund Bowls Day Challenge took place at Port City Bowling Club on Friday 7 April.

Eire Constructions joined Port Macquarie Mayor, Peter Besseling and 18 teams who took to the greens to raise funds for local sporting talent.

Tadhg Kelliher said “It was a fun day out for the Eire Constructions team. We versed our clients Land Dynamics who excelled at the game of bowls. Not even a celebrity bowl from the Mayor could put our team back in contention.”

Eire Constructions already sponsor local sport including Taree City Bulls, Port Macquarie Breakers and Lakeview parkrun.

“We’re proud to support the Mayor’s Sports Fund, an important cause which helps develop the next generation of young sporting stars,” added Tadhg.

James Magnussen, Ryley Batt and Lauren Kitchen are past recipients of the Mayor’s Sporting Fund.
